Yee-Haw, Apparently We Needed Another Toy
Cowgirl Toy arrived in the World of Unruly Punk for one very simple reason: there was a complete and utter lack of female representation.
Patty had been doing her best, but apparently one female character wasn’t enough to keep this lot under control.
So Cowgirl Toy joined Cowboy Toy and Space Toy, bringing a bit of much-needed balance to the increasingly questionable collection of heroes wandering around this place.
Her story is loosely inspired by the old Wild West. She’s brave, loyal, fiercely independent and always ready to ride into trouble when her friends need her.
Unfortunately, she’s also been drawn like this.
I genuinely tried to make her look feminine. The hat was going well. The hair was going well. Then I got to the face and apparently just accepted defeat.
Still, she fits right in.
Cowboy Toy finally has someone who understands the cowboy lifestyle, Space Toy has someone else to complain about, and the three of them now make up one of the more dysfunctional groups in Unruly Punk.
Yee-haw.
